Onondaga Free Library

With additions on all sides, the Onondaga Free Library expanded from 7,500 SF to 19,000 SF and transformed itself into a state-of-the-art educational, media, and social center for the community.

The Children's area is the talk of the town with colorful murals, 3-dimensional climbing trees, log cabin story time room, and early learning computer-land. The open, multi-story library is complete with casual reading and media areas for Juniors, Young-Adults, Adults, and Seniors. Amenities such as the reading cafe, the marketplace, cd/dvd corner, the fireplace parlor, community rooms for 150, private teaching labs, self-serve checkout, and donor wall all add to the OFL'S ability to serve as a community library and more!
